News from OBF Churches, February 4, 2014

Here is this week’s roundup of news from some Ohio Bible Fellowship churches for prayer and encouragement—

Eastside Community Bible Church, Cincinnati, Pastor Nathaniel Pringle

  • Praise: Announced yesterday that we will be moving forward on the lease space.
  • Praise: Good spirit of unity and encouraging fellowship throughout the day.
  • Request: Several from the church are dealing with challenging health issues.
  • Request: Three of our young ladies have significant decisions regarding next year.
  • Request: Pray for Jake Swanson as he fills the pulpit for the AM service next week (in anticipation of Baby Pringle’s arrival).
  • Chairs will be needed for meeting at the new location, estimating around $3000. Email Pastor Pringle for more information.

Faith Bible Church, Bellevue, Pastor Ralph Flynn

  • An online news site for Bellevue will start soon, and the publisher has an article on Faith Bible in the first issue. Pray for fruit from this!

Greencastle Bible Church, Pastors Charles Flesher and Paul Martin

  • Continue to pray for Pastor and Linda Flesher during her struggle with cancer.
  • Sunday night, February 16 we will have our annual Winter Banquet during the evening service.

Middlefield Bible Church, Pastor John Howard

  • We’ve had three inquiries from our church website since Christmas! Praise the Lord, and pray as well that these inquiries would result in visits to our church.
  • Praise the Lord for a couple that the Lord has sent to greatly encourage us in our ministry in Middlefield.
  • Praise the Lord that even though we have older people, most everyone showed up on one of the coldest Sundays of the year—last week!
  • Praise the Lord that our church has a monthly service at Briarhill Nursing Home in Middlefield, and the Lord has burdened two of our couples to conduct it.

Graydon Cox has a Bible study at a nursing home on Tuesday evenings.
